Evaluator: Service Manager - Reports To: Service Manager, Asst. Service Manager

Main Purpose: To inspect, calibrate and repair biomedical equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities: (in order of importance)

  1. Inspect equipment to accurately identify all device parameters that do not meet OEM documented specifications.
  2. Proficiently use all test equipment related in the testing of assigned devices.
  3. Certifies equipment has been refurbished to original OEM specifications.
  4. Perform minor repairs with accepted technical practices.
  5. Answers technical questions from customers and internal staff.
  6. Documents test results and equipment history.
  7. Researches technical issues using all available data.
  8. Trouble shoots and identifies correct part necessary to repair equipment and to correct customer problem.
  9. Talks to customers for the purpose of selling parts.
  10. Travels for on site repairs and installations.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  1. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to assigned devices
  2. Knowledge of electronic analog and digital circuits.
  3. Knowledge of biomedical equipment design and clinical applications.
  4. Skilled to use basic functions of test equipment and simulators.
  5. Skilled to use basic hand tools.
  6. Skilled to perform basic soldering.
  7. Ability to multitask technical tasks while interfacing with customers

Credentials and Experience:

  1. Minimum BS degree in electrical or biomedical engineering.
  2. No experience necessary.
  3. Four undergraduate classes in electronic engineering.
  4. Two undergraduate classes in biomedical instrumentation.
  5. One semester of Anatomy and Physiology
  6. Two semesters of engineering laboratories.
  7. Undergraduate basic physics and chemistry.

Main Purpose: To drive and provide delivery and pick up services for our customers and business needs.

Duties and Responsibilities: (in order of importance)

  1. Delivers boxes, crates, documents or product to our customers at different locations as required.
  2. Picks/Receive boxes, crates, documents or products from customers, businesses or other locations as required.
  3. Performs daily pre-trip inspection and records data in vehicle logbook.
  4. Maintains the vehicle documentation such as service records, insurance and registration organized and readily accessible in the vehicle.
  5. Reports maintenance problems to the facilities manager or supervisor.
  6. Contacts customers in advanced to schedule delivery times and access the delivery logistics, such as available unloading areas, elevators and rigging requirements.
  7. Updates warehouse supervisor throughout the day on vehicle location and ETA.
  8. Properly secures freight and correctly loads vehicle.
  9. Correctly updates driver logbook.
  10. Keep passenger cab clean free of clutter, dust and dirt.
  11. Keeps box broom swept.

Main Purpose: To clean medical equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities: (in order of importance)

  2. Cleans medical equipment and accessories by removing all dirt.
  3. Wears safety glasses, gloves and masks as required.
  4. Notifies supervisor if dirt or stain can not be removed.
  5. Notifies supervisor if any physical damaged is discovered on device.
  6. Properly identifies essential and non-essential labels and removes only the non-essential ones.
  7. Causes no or minimal damage to device during the cleaning process.
  8. Cleans devices that are urgent first.
  9. Correctly packages cleaned units with the correct accessories.
  10. Applies 220V stickers on units that have been converted.
  11. Must keep work area clean and organized.
  12. Provides janitorial, landscaping and building maintenance upon request of supervisor.
  13. Assists in warehouse duties and with deliveries.

  1. Knows the correct cleaning solution to use for item being cleaned.
