Altrix delivers precision temperature management by measuring patient temperature every 1.3 seconds to achieve steady state patient control within +/- 0.1°C. It is an FDA 510(k) cleared device that can be used in all clinical settings, and includes non-adhesive, insulated wraps to allow for ease of patient access and enhanced thermal transfer capabilities. Additionally, when used as directed, Altrix effectively prevents the aerosolization of microbes, allowing for use in the OR.
